Ambrose Alli University (AAU) Ekpoma 2012/2013 post UTME Date is Out

2012/2013 UTME candidates who applied to Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma as Institution of First Choice, with a UTME score of 180 and above are invited to attend a screening exercise in the University on the days and venues indicated below.

Screening Time-Table:
The screening exercise for the various Faculties is scheduled to take place on the following dates at 9:00am each day. Starting from 28th, june 2012.

Candidates are expected to report at the venues of screening at 7.30 am prompt.

Subject for Screening:
Candidates will be screened in subjects relating to their First Choice course of study in Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.

Method of Application:
Applicants are required to purchase an eTranzact PIN (Payment Voucher) for Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma post UTME on-line application form at a fee of Two thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only from any of the under listed Banks Nation Wide.

Procedure for Online Application
Only candidates with their names on the cPortal as uploaded from the JAMB first choice list are eligible to make payments at the designated banks and also participate in the Ambrose Alli University post UTME screening exercise.

Consequently, candidates are advised to first check the Ambrose Alli University Portal at www.myaau.com for their details by logging on to the cPortal with their JAMB UTME Registration number as access code.
Such details containing the student’s bio data and AAU application number should be printed out by the candidates and used as payment instruments at the banks
for the purchase of the eTranzact PIN.

On purchase of the eTranzact PIN(Payment Voucher), all candidates are to visit the Ambrose Alli University
college cPortal at www.myaau.com to complete and submit the post UTME online application form.

All such candidates must upload their coloured passport photograph and scanned copies of all relevant certificates/documents to the cPortal. Candidates should preview and confirm that the passport photograph is
properly uploaded as no complaint of wrong or blank picture will be entertained after submission of forms.

Candidates are to print out a copy of the application form with their passport photograph for presentation along with other documents on the screening dates stated above. All candidates are to come to the venue of the screening exercise with the following:

1. UTME e-registration slip and Original JAMB Result Slip (Click here to get yours).
2. HB pencil, eraser and biro.
3. A print-out of the duly completed post UTME Online Application form.

Direct Entry:
All Direct Entry Candidates who applied to JAMB for admission and chose Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma
as Institution of First Choice are also required to complete the online application form for their screening
exercise.
All such candidates must upload scanned copies of all relevant certificates/documents to the cPortal.
The manual screening exercise for Direct Entry (DE) candidates is scheduled to place from Monday, 2nd July 2012 to Friday, 6th July, 2012 from 9.00 am each day.
Please be informed that there shall be no Direct Entry into Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science and Law.
All Direct Entry candidates should follow the online application procedure as stated above and also obtain the Tranzact PIN (payment Voucher) for Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma post UTME online application form at a fee of Two thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only from any of the designated Banks.
NOTE: All candidates (both UTME and Direct Entry) are to note that; (i) Technology fee and bank charges,
will be charged at the point of purchase
of the eTranzact PIN (Payment Voucher).

(ii) All names should be written in full when completing the online application form as no initials shall be entertained.
Duration of Application The application forms for UTME and Direct Entry (DE) will be available online for completion and submission from Thursday 7th June 2012 to Monday 25th June 2012.

Warning
(a) Any candidate who fails to appear for the screening exercise automatically forfeits his/her eligibility for
consideration in the 2012/2013 academic session’s admission exercise.

Requirements for the Screening Exercise
All eligible candidates are required to come on the scheduled date to the Convocation Arena at the University Main Campus at Gidan-kwano along Minna-Bida road with the following:

1. A clean copy of 2012/2013 – UTME result slip affixed with a recent coloured passport photograph and with the title ofcourse/programme of choice boldly written on top of the result slip.
2. The printed 2012/2013 Post-UTME scheduling slip .
3. A writing material (biro or pencil).
4. A simple calculator (non-programmable) without cover.
General Information
A) No candidate will be allowed to participate in the screening exercise without complying with the above requirements.
B) The Main Campus at Gidan Kwano along Minna-Bida road isabout 20 kms away from the Bosso Campus of the University, which is inside Minna town. Candidates without personal vehicles may board commercial buses at the rate of N70 at the Bus Park inside the Bosso Campus of the University.
C) Candidates are not allowed to bring GSM handsets or similar electronic gadgets into the screening hall. Such item(s) will be seized and will not be returned to the owners.
D) Impersonation is a serious offence and anyone caught impersonating will be handed over to the law enforcement agents.
E) Any registered candidate who fails to report for the screening exercise on the date specified on the print-out automatically loses his or her chance of being considered for admission.
F) Candidates are advised to arrive at the convocation arena at the Main Campus, Gidan Kwano on the scheduled date for the screening exercise at least one hour prior to the scheduled time.

Note: First choice candidates are strongly advised to commence registration immediately as the University portal will be closed for registration at midnight of Tuesday 12 th June, 2011.

The University portal will be re-opened for the commencement of registration by second choice candidates only on Wednesday 20 th June, 2012.

Candidates whose UTME score is below the minimum for their chosen course are eligible to register for any other course provided they attain the minimum score for that course.

Such candidates will however be surcharged a "CHANGE of COURSE" processing fee of N500 only before the results of the CBT screening exercise are processed.

iv. However, all candidates must have the prescribed subjects combination in the UTME required for admission into the proposed course/programme as prescribed in the JAMB brochure.

v. All candidates must possess a minimum of five O’Level credits including Mathematics and English language at not more than two sittings in subjects relevant to their proposed course and obtained not earlier than 2008.

vi. Only O’Level result print-out downloaded directly from the website of the national examining body (WAEC/NECO/ NABTEB) or original certificate(s) will be accepted for verification.

vii. Candidates in the "Awaiting Result" category will NOT be allowed to participate in the screening exercise.

Method of Registration


All candidates must either possess a valid e-mail address or create one for the purpose of the online registration for the screening exercise.

Candidates should go to any of the following designated Banks (First Bank, UBA , Union Bank, EcoBank, Keystone Bank, Access Bank, Guaranty Trust Bank, Zenith Bank, Skye Bank ) and pay N1,000.00 only for the CBT screening and another N1,000.00 as University processing fee totalling N2,000.00 (exclusive of N250 Bank charges) into "FUTMINNA POST – UTME ACCOUNT" through e-Tranzact
platform.

The Bank will issue a receipt containing a receipt number and Confirmation order number that will be used by the candidate for the on-line registration.

Similarly, candidates who made FUTA their first or/and second choice(s) for the Direct Entry Admission for the 2012/2013 academic session are also invited for a computer-based Pre-Admission screening exercise on Saturday, 9th June, 2012.

Registration Procedure


Each candidate is to make a payment of N2,000:00 (exclusive of bank commission/charges) at any commercial Bank nation-wide using the e-transact platform (Just walk into any bank - Gtbank, firstbank, zenith, Uba, Access, Ecobank, Fidelity, etc and tell them you need e-transact confirmation code for payment of FUTA 2012 Post UTME Exam). Please note that the CANDIDATE’S UTME/DE Registration number and the full name should be correctly provided at the point of payment.

After the payment and collection of e-transact confirmation code, you are to go online with your UTME Registration Number and complete an online registration form located by clicking here. On the page that loads up, enter your Jamb UTME registration number, the confirmation number from e-tranzact and select "2012 Post-UTME fees" in the spaces provided. The completed form which will indicate the exact date and time for the screening exercise should be printed for the candidate’s use.

The registration exercise which will commence on Thursday, 24th May, 2012, will close at 12.00 midnight on Monday, 4th June, 2012.


All candidates are requested to bring along the following items to the screening venue:

1. Depositor’s copy of bank teller indicating payment of TWO THOUSAND NAIRA (N2, 000.00) for Registration
2. Print out of e-transact receipt (collected from the bank)
3. Completed Registration Form (downloaded from the FUTA website)

Postgraduate graduand who is interested in purchasing the University Academic Gown is required to pay a total sum of thirty thousand (N30,000.00) naira only into any of the above account numbers.
Academic attire collected, should be returned immediately, after each ceremony OR at the latest Monday, June 18, 2012, after which the refundable fee of two thousand (N2,000) naira only will be returned to the graduand at the Bursary on presentation of clearance obtained at the Faculties, for the return of academic attire.
Any graduand, who holds on to the academic attire beyond Monday, June 18, 2012, will be liable to a fine of Five hundred naira (N500.00) only, for each day of default.
Also, any graduand who loses OR damages the academic attire would pay Fifteen thousand (N15, 000.00) naira only as replacement fee.
Parents of graduands and invited guest are advised to be seated NOT later than 9.35 a. m. on each day.
8. FREE INVITATION CARDS FOR GRADUANDS
Each graduand is entitled to two (2) invitation cards. The invitation cards and complete set of academic outfit, made up of Gown, Hood and Cap are available for collection on presentation of Receipt/Teller for payment at the Faculty/College as appropriate.  Convocation Brochure, Magazine and Academic outfit are to be collected at the various College/Schools/Faculties of the graduands.

Osun State University - Uniosun - 2012/2013 Post-UTME Screening Information

Osun State University Uniosun hereby announces her readiness to conduct the 2012/2013 Post-UTME Screening Exercise for candidates who chose Osun State University as their 1st and/or 2nd choice, with a minimum score of 200 and above.

However, candidates who met the national minimum cut-off of 180 may be considered for admission into programmes in Agriculture, Education and Arts (Humanities and Culture) only.

Benue State University BSU 2012/2013 Post-UTME Screening Details is Out

Benue State University BSU has fixed the date for her 2012/2013 Post-UTME examination which is slated to hold 8th - 9th June, 2012.

Accordingly, candidates who chose the Benue State University as Most Preferred First and More Preferred Second Choices are advised to report to the University for the Exercise.

Candidates that chose Benue State University, Makurdi as their Most Preferred First Choice and More Preferred Second Choices and scored 180 in their UTME are eligible to sit for the Post UTME screening, except for MBBS programme where only candidates who scored 200 points and above shall be eligible. Note, However, that for candidates who chose as their Most Preferred First Choice and More Preferred Second Choice the MBBS programme and scored a minimum of 180 points, but below200 points shall be allowed to be screened under programmes in the Faculty of Science where their UTME subject combinations are applicable.

Prospective candidates are to pay the sum of N2500 to write the exam.

UNILORIN 2012/2013 post UTME Registration and Exam date is out

The University of Ilorin invites candidates who have applied for admission into the undergraduate degree programmes of the University for the 2012/2013 academic session to upload the required information for the Screening Exercise between Friday 1st June and Friday, 8th June 2012.
All results intended for use for the 2012/2013 admission must be uploaded not later than Wednesday 15th August, 2012 when the Portal shall be closed.(Candidates awaiting any result should please note).

The Pre-admission Screening Exercise will commence on Monday 11th and ends on Saturday 16th June, 2012 at Ilorin and Lagos centres.

Who is invited to apply?
UTME Candidates who made the University of Ilorin their first and/or second choice and scored:

(i) A minimum of 200 marks in the UTME for courses other than those listed in (ii) and (iii) below, and also have five (5) ‘O’ level Credits in relevant subjects at not more than two sittings.

(ii) A minimum score of 220 marks in UTME for Accounting, Biochemistry, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Common Law, Economics, English, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Finance, Geology, Industrial Chemistry, Mass Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Microbiology, Nursing Pharmacy and Veterinary Medicine and five (5) ‘O’ level Credits in relevant subjects at not more than two sittings.

iii) MB;BS candidates who obtained:

(a) A minimum score of 240 marks in the UTME; and

b) Five (5) O level Credit Passes at one sitting only in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination or its equivalent in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

DIRECT ENTRY Candidates who made the University of Ilorin their first and/or second choice and have obtained a minimum of:

(i) Upper Credit at ND/HND (except for Statistics, Agriculture, Performing Arts and History, where Lower Credit may be considered).

Also, note that the Departments of Business Administration and Economics will not accept ND or HND.

(ii) Merit in NCE; and

(iii) A minimum of two (2) Advanced level passes in two relevant subjects.

(iv) MB;BS candidates must have obtained a minimum of:

(a) 13 points in IJMB, NABTEB, GCE Advanced or Cambridge Advanced Level Examinations in Physics, Chemistry and Biology;

(b) Second Class (Upper Division) Honours Degree in Anatomy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Physiology, Zoology or any other relevant courses in the Basic Sciences.

All candidates MUST disclose the choice of courses they applied for originally with JAMB as well as any proposed change of course. Candidates

seeking change of course will be required to pay the sum of Two thousand naira (N2,000.00) separately before registration can be completed or stand

being disqualified. Withholding of information or wrong information will lead to instant disqualification.

FOREIGN CANDIDATES Who have not taken part in the UTME or filled Direct Entry form can reach the University Admissions Officer at cie@unilorin.edu.ng for information on admission into the University. Foreign candidates will not be required to make any payment at this stage.

SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR SCREENING:
1. University of Ilorin charges N1,000.00 Computer-Based Test (CBT) Platform and another N1,000.00 for University processing fee making a total of N2,000.00 excluding bank charges. Payment will be done on the University portal during registration by using Interswitch-enabled card (Only MasterCard and Verve Card are accepted).

2. Applicants are advised to come for the exercise with their Acknowledgement page print-outs from the online registration of STAGES 1 and 2 as these will be used for identification.

SCREENING REGISTRATION AND PROCEDURES
i) EVERY CANDIDATE SHOULD COMPLETE AND SUBMIT ON-LINE THE REGISTRATION FORM FOR SCREENING ON OR BEFORE SATURDAY 8TH JUNE, 2012.

ii) ALL CANDIDATES SHOULD FILL THE BEST FIVE (5) ‘O’ LEVEL RELEVANT SUBJECTS (AT NOT MORE THAN TWO SITTINGS EXCEPT AS STATED IN A iii b).For example:
Medicine: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Common Law: English Language, Literature-in-English and any other 3 subjects from Arts and/or Social Sciences. Note that a Pass in Mathematics is a requirement for admission into Common Law programme but should not be listed as one of the five subjects.

Business and Social Sciences: Courses in Business and Social Sciences require 3 Social Science subjects except Economics, Sociology and
